I've been teaching myself web design and programming since age 12. In the fourteen years since then, my hobby turned into a profession and I've amassed a rather large skill set covering UI design, UX, server-side and client-side scripting, cross-browser compatibility, mobile web/app, SEO/SEM, branding and identity, database management, custom WordPress themes and plugins, and much more.

Murphy's Law struck early and often in my young life: I lost my mother to cancer at 13 and my father to the same disease at 16. I grew up with little money and had to overcome many obstacles. While unfortunate, I was forced to become resilient, adaptable, and self-reliant from a young age - all qualities that would help me regain control of my life and my future, and enable me to establish my own ventures.

I participated in a photo shoot once when I was in college, and when I saw the results I thought to myself, I could totally do better than this
. Since then, I’ve worked with models and celebrities around the nation, seen my work in various magazines, publications, and websites, and was even selected by Hugh Hefner and Playboy as one of only ten photographers to appear on the series premiere of Playboy Shootout.
